Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! With the pandemic still affecting “normal life,” I figured most people would be spending more time indoors this weekend. And if you live in the North East, like I do, we may be getting an ice storm! Yay for winter!! (Is it spring yet??….anyone….)
Anyway….I decided to scour the interwebs to find some Valentine’s Day worthy desserts that you can whip up and serve to a loved one. If you try one of these, let me know what you thought of it in the comments down below!
The first dessert…well technically it’s 50 (!) comes from the Food Network. Time and time again, I’ve found myself turning to the Food Network’s website when I wanted to look for a recipe. I also use this as a starting place when I’m developing a recipe from scratch. I look at recipes to get ratios and a general ingredients list. I also like to compare recipes and see how different flavors can be mixed and created. Anyway, check out these wonderful, chocolate desserts to make for your special someone this weekend!
White chocolate and cheesecake who could ask for anything else? These White Chocolate Raspberry Bars from Sally’s Baking Addiction are the perfect treat, especially if you want something smaller than a large slice of cake. I’ve been hanging around Sally’s website for a few months now and I often find myself asking “What took me so long to find it?!” It’s a great resource and the food photography is STUNNING! Here’s the recipe.
If you’re like me and feel like you can celebrate V-Day without something red, then I highly recommend Cookie and Kate’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Tart! For me, personally I could eat this dessert every week. I LOVE the chocolate and peanut butter combination. This is the way to my heart, honest. Try it for yourself!
There you have it! Three (53, technically) Valentine’s Day worthy desserts to wrap up the celebration….or maybe you’d just be starting it off!
